Summary:
The Software Release Program Manager (SRPM) is responsible for the planning, management and execution of software releases for development, testing, and production environments. They work closely with Professional Services, Engineering, Systems and Network Engineering, and Quality Assurance departments to thoroughly document and manage code as it moves into production. The SRPM is a self-motivated and collaborative IT professional with a strong background in software development lifecycle methodology and demonstrates a working understanding of change and release management processes.

Essential Functions:
• Ensure planning, management, and deployment of software releases into the development, testing and production environments is completed successfully

Shift/Work Hours:
While this position primarily works during standard business hours, there will be occasional extended hours in order to meet project deadlines and deployments as with any such role. Standard business hours are Monday – Friday 8am to 5pm. Some flexibility in work hours may be granted. MINIMAL TRAVEL MAY BE REQUIRED.

    Area Service Manager - Direct Hire

Location: Tampa FL / Prior Lake MN

Description:

Our client currently has a position available for an Area Service Manager in the Tampa, FL or Prior Lake, MN office. This client is the fastest growing independent maintainer of mid-range to main frame servers from IBM, Sun , HP/Compaq/DEC, Dell, EMC and Cisco.

Basic Function: To manage field engineers in responding to customer calls to meet SLA’s. To prepare the engineers with proper training to ensure successful incident resolution. To make sure all engineers conform to all standard procedures and present themselves in a professional manner to the customer. ASM should be the first line of defense for supporting his people, i.e., prior to being escalated to the Customer Support Group for help. ASM should be able to recognize the abilities of his people to plan a career path. Additionally, it is the responsibility of the ASM to ensure that all paperwork is processed completely and accurately, on a timely basis. MUST BE ABLE TO DO SERVICE CALLS ON MULTI PLATFORMS.

The Area Service Manager serves as a key member within the Region Field Service organization, responsible for :

· Staff planning and reviews

· Adherence to company standards

· One to three warehouses or staffing level up to 15 engineers

· Local escalations

· Warehouse hygiene

· Field Engineer development and management

· Ensure and monitor SLA adherence on a local level

· Ensure that we have appropriate training (coverage) for skills necessary in the local market

· Inventory control oversight

· Inventory methods adherence

· Field Engineer call scheduling

· Technical Service (Spot) scheduling

· Follow up to ensure customer satisfaction

· Participate in the call rotations based on skill sets
